Venus McFlytrap is more London punk made unique with her perennial green hue and vine details. She has been known to use her pollen powers of persuasion to get the other monsters to volunteer for ecological causes.
Unfortunately, Jackson Jekyll, the other half of Holt Hyde, finds his dual personality makes it hard for him to always keep his commitments-but he tries, and he looks fabulous doing it in his iconic outfit. В переводе Granite - очевидно, гранит. Sander - есть варианты шлифовальный станок или пескоструйный аппарат, в любом случае связано с песком.
Тянет на имя для какого-нибудь гаргульи, но прикол не в этом. На мой взгляд это однозначное омонстрячивание имени ведущего дизайнера Монстер Хай Гарретта Сандера:

Маттел уже переделывал имена Эрика Харди (Eric Hardie -> Ooo-ick Hardeeee) и Келли Райли (Kellee Riley -> Killee Rotley) в таком же стиле, правда торговыми марками их не делали. Может кукла будет? На взрослом теле... Они упоминаются у Гулии на обратной стороне коробки Dawn of the Dance и на обложке комикса о ДэдФасте, прилагавшегося к Комик Коновской кукле, при этом Гаррет Сандер там тоже упоминается с недоумением Гулии по поводу того, что он использует такое "чудовищно человеческое" имя. Похоже, теперь они нашли подходящий вариант.
И еще эту марку зафайлили именно 13-го марта, а 13, как известно, счастливое число для МХ

Последний комментарий - это явное передразнивание просьбы от одного из фанатов выложить фото офиса Сандера, на что тот отшутился, что ему там вначале надо сделать весеннюю уборку. Впрочем, и требование детальной информации о Комик-Коновской кукле - тоже из разряда шуток над вопросами фанатов.

Самая интересная на мой взгляд информация из чата (почти копипаст из моего поста на ДП):
- Был вопрос о том, будут ли еще кровати для кукол - ответ, что постараются выпустить подходящие аксессуары для всех персонажей (скорее всего, всяческую мебель и транспортные средства).
- Спрашивали о том, будет ли продолжение линии Скалл Шорс, на что Гаррет ответил, что в этом году нас еще ждут сюрпризы (по-моему, это выглядит, скорее, как да).
- Был вопрос, почему мы не видим больше парней в этой кукольной линейке. Ответ: нам нравится фокусироваться на главных девушках, но парни делают свои появления незабвенными, и то, что их всего несколько, делает их даже более особенными.
- Спросили, будут ли делать кукол постарше. Опять-таки уклончивый ответ из разряда "кто знает" или "все может быть".
- Кто будет следующей Комик-Коновской куклой, он не сказал, а сам Комик Кон в Сан-Диего в этом году будет проходить с 11 до 15 июля.
- Когда точно выпустят Скару не ответил, но держите ушки на макушке.
- По поводу подставок-расчесок, Гаррет сказал, что не стоит волноваться, куклы будут и в дальнейшем выходить с разными аксессуарами, в том числе с подставками и расческами.
